Do you deliver?
We do not provide delivery service, but third-party delivery services accessible via phone apps (such as Caviar, Favor, UberEATS, etc.) can be used to bring our cookies to your doorstep. To ensure that we have your desired products available, please call your order in to the store before sending a pick-up request via your chosen app.
Do you ship cookies?
We currently do not ship cookies, but hope to be able to provide this service in the near future! We will, however, happily box your cookies with extra padding and wrap them, so that you can ship them yourself. Please indicate when ordering that you would like your cookies “wrapped for shipping”, and give us at least two hours advance notice on phone orders so that we can prepare your package.
JD’s Chippery uses walnuts, peanuts, eggs and milk products. Upon special request and with two days advance notice, we will do our best to provide cookies or cookie cakes that are as safe from nut contamination as possible, but we do not have completely separate facilities and therefore cannot guarantee that a product is 100% nut-free.
Our muffins and cookies contain no trans fats. Our ingredients include butter, pure cane sugar, and high-quality Guittard chocolate. A few of our muffins (blueberry oat bran, oat branana, and carrot apple raisin bran) are low-fat and low-cholesterol, using egg whites and low-fat buttermilk for a healthier option.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks (with ID) and all major credit cards. We also sell gift certificates for that special cookie-lover!
Do you do large orders?
We often provide cookies for corporate events, large parties, wedding favors and other bulk orders. Please call the store for inquiries and detailed pricing. Orders over 100 cookies called in at least two business days in advance may be eligible for discount pricing.
Can I place a custom order?
We can customize most of our products to suit your needs. From packaging to match themed colors for a company or party, to special custom cookie cakes, simply call the store and we’ll see what we can do for you.
- Cancellation: Any cookie or muffin orders canceled more than 24 hours before scheduled pick-up time can be refunded in full. Cookie cake orders canceled more than 48 hours before scheduled pick-up time can also be refunded in full.
- Change of pick-up time: To delay pick-up of your order to a different time within the same day, simply call us. If you need to pick up your order earlier than originally scheduled, we may or may not be able to accommodate you – please call as soon as you are aware of the need for a change and we will do our best to help.
How long will my cookies and muffins stay fresh?
We recommend eating your fresh-baked cookies and muffins within one or two days. Our products can also be frozen to enjoy over a longer period of time. You can place muffins or cookies in individual freezer-safe bags to take out as desired, or store entire boxes of product wrapped in plastic. To thaw, simply unwrap the box and prop it up to allow air to circulate around the entire box. Cookies and muffins can also be enjoyed warm by popping them in the microwave for a few seconds on half power (about 10 seconds for cookies, 30 seconds for muffins, optimal time may vary depending on the wattage of your microwave).
